Hardscaping can be an important part of stormwater management. We recently installed this pathway as the first part of a larger conservation landscaping project. Winter days are perfect for swinging the machete! It’s been great spending most of the winter so far chilling/learning cool new stuff/planning for a super fun spring install season, but we are also excited to keep PLANTING! On the second day of winter we are thinking about SEEDS [TLDR: leave the seeds!] Hoop house status = all tucked in tight for a winter nap. Swipe for the ghost of photosynthesis past! Front yards should be full of plants and bugs and life! What a blessing to see this handsome friend fluttering around the garden in November! Hitting pause on a busy fall install season to smell*, look at, and basically obsess over the flowers! ✅Working on a new full-yard transformation, replacing more than 1200 square feet of English Ivy and lawn with native habitat How it’s going —> how it started 🔥🔥🔥 Mega-excited to rip out a big ol’ chunk of turf grass this week and replace it with a diverse mix of native plants. We had the chance to visit a garden that we planted this spring and were *shocked* at how it had filled in!
